From Vancouver to every day
Hi! We are Sofia Hartley.
We started in Vancouver, where the day begins with coffee in Kitsilano and ends with dinner on a patio in Gastown. The seawall, the mountains on the North Shore, rain that settles in from October to April. Our jewellery had to keep up with all of it, and for years most of what we owned didn't. Chains that lost their colour after one rainy week, rings that left green marks and pieces that only worked with one outfit.
So we started looking for jewellery that fits the way we actually live. Pieces you put on before a walk on the seawall and still wear to dinner downtown, in a warm gold tone that looks just as good with a summer tan in July as with a cosy sweater in January. When we couldn't find it, we made it ourselves. That became Sofia Hartley.
The idea is simple: jewellery that stays with you all day, from your morning walk to late nights in the city, and still looks good tomorrow.
